Zhenjiang Museum is a national first-class museum established in 1958 and located within a well-preserved former British Consulate complex dating back to the late 19th century. According to official museum information, it houses over 30,000 cultural relics and more than 100,000 ancient books, covering bronze ware, ceramics, calligraphy, paintings, and regional historical artifacts. The museum plays a key role in showcasing the cultural evolution of the Yangtze River basin and Zhenjiang’s historical position as an important port city and cultural intersection between East and West.
