China Milu Park

China Milu Park

The China Milu Park in Dafeng is the world’s largest reserve for Père David’s deer (Milu), a species once extinct in the wild. Established in 1986, the reserve has successfully restored and expanded the global Milu population. Today, it contains the world’s largest Milu gene pool and serves as a model for wildlife conservation. The park combines coastal wetlands, grasslands, and ecological forests, allowing visitors to observe herds of deer roaming freely in their natural environment.
