Golden Beach Ecological Scenic Area is located in Qidong, Nantong, at the eastern edge of Jiangsu Province near the Yangtze River estuary. According to official Nantong Municipal Government tourism materials, it is part of the Yuantuojiao Resort and a provincial-level wetland park known for its extensive tidal flats, rich coastal ecosystem, and sunrise viewing landscapes.
The scenic area features a wide stretch of golden-colored mudflats and wetlands where the Yangtze River meets the Yellow Sea. It is recognized as one of the earliest places in the Yangtze River Delta to view the sunrise, making it a popular destination for nature tourism and photography.
